Ashton H

Ashton is from Elyria Ohio and moved to Columbus to study Animal Sciences at OSU and perform in the marching band! Their lifelong passion for animals led them to volunteer in numerous animal shelters in animal care and behavior departments, and to complete a summer internship at the Ohio Wildlife center. Ash has a special interest in cognitive function and animal behavior and believes it can often be overlooked in veterinary medicine. Ash resides in Columbus with their two kitties Venus, a friendly and outgoing two-and-a-half-year-old tabby, and her littermate Saturn who is just as sweet but a little shyer than his sister!  Ash is currently volunteering at Dream on Horseback in Blacklick Ohio and is an avid runner, soccer player, and roller-skater. They also enjoy drawing, reading, and playing video games in their free time!
