Chicago native Gwen has always had a love for wildlife and animal health. She’s been in the veterinary field since 2017 and has completed both a wildlife rehabilitation internship in Wisconsin and a big cat conservation internship in Limpopo, South Africa! Her passion in veterinary medicine is to help four (or 3!) legged friends stay healthy as long as possible. She has a BA in Environmental Science and Zoology, as well as a minor in Black World Studies, and has a life mission to help preserve our world’s ecosystems and biodiversity. When she isn’t spending time with her critters Ladybug, Sticky, Cricket, and Spider, she enjoys playing rugby, rock climbing, hiking, camping, music, reading, and video games!
