Kelly S

Most of our clients will already know Kelly, as she has been the face of our front desk since March 2014. Kelly was born in Syracuse, NY, and joined the Air Force straight out of high school. After serving 5 years, she was honorably discharged and moved to Columbus a few years later. Kelly followed her lifelong love of animals to Citizens for Humane Action Animal Shelter where she began volunteering before obtaining employment. Kelly holds a Dog Training Certificate from Animal Behavior College, which makes sense, given her special interest in canine behavior and understanding how their brains work and learn. When Kelly finds time away from the clinic, she loves hiking through forests and traveling to see live music, especially her favorite band, Twiddle.

Kelly lives with her husband Tim in Columbus. They share their home with Turtle the cat, a rescue from the streets, who joined their family in 2019.
